"the tiniest pinhole of light is all that it takes so that grace may find its way"
The Pumpkin Kid
An orphan boy with a wagon of misshapen pumpkins, stops to visit his cranky neighbors; a surly blacksmith, a disillusioned woodcarver, and an ill-tempered, yet grief-stricken tailor.
Begrudgingly, they each loan him a discarded tool, an old saw, a broken spoon and a twisted hat pin, and with these, he is able to create the most exquisite carvings.
But what magic is revealed when these pumpkins are illuminated from within? And how is it that the light is able to change and transform hearts, even those that feel cracked, ruined and beyond repair?
